I have purchased dozens of bundles over the years. Great everyday cigar. Some sticks out of the bundles may be bitter or canoe when burning, but they are excellent tasting cigars and I always keep a bundle or two in my humidor.

I hate to get all eulogistic about the #49 Throwouts for fear of a price increase, or worse yet, getting discontinued.
They are fantastic daily cigars and I keep bundles stocked in various locations.
Sure, there’s the occasional stick that crashes out, but the flavor is consistently good.

I’ve burned through 3 bundles now and I’m giving you the plain truth. These are phenomenal! With a little aging, 3-8 months, they are consistently excellent. Like you, I can, and have, bought the most expensive cigars out there and keep coming back to these. Great burn, and above all, great tast, particularly in the final 2 thirds. When I want great taste and can choose from any of my $10 – $50 sticks, I choose these, and when In a heartier mood, I’ll light up my Cain Fs. That’s it! Cannot recommend these enough. If they were 10 bucks a stick, I’d still be buying em. This from a guy who, perhaps like you, can afford almost anything. Cheers.
