Factory Throwouts are a finished, machine-made cigar blended with premium tobaccos. The nature of the tobacco makes them a very inexpensive cigar, hence the name “throwout.” In Tampa, cigar factories had a tradition of selling “throwout” cigars (called seconds, rejects, smokers, brevas, or fumas) to walk-in customers at a discounted price.
