The inspiration for Craftsman’s Bench was supplying the everyday cigar smoker with accessible accessories for their cigar lifestyle. Diamond Crown humidors are top of the line, but sometimes unavailable to smokers on a budget. Craftsman’s Bench is the everyman’s humidor and ashtray brand.

History of Craftsman’s Bench

J.C. Newman Cigar Co. branched out with two accessory lines in the 1990’s: Diamond Crown and Craftsman’s Bench. These accessory brands allowed J.C. Newman cigars to be sold in tandem with stylized travel humidors, cigar cases, cutters, humidors, and ashtrays. Since the 1990’s, accessories have exploded into a multi-million-dollar industry for cigar manufacturers. The Newmans now manufacture dozens of different styles of accessories to accommodate this growing market.

Craftsman’s Bench Cutters

Craftsman’s Bench offers affordable, stainless-steel double-blade cutters, v-cutters, and punch (bullet) cutters. Consistently rated for best value, these are the everyman’s cigar cutter.

Craftsman’s Bench Humidors

Craftsman’s Bench offers a huge range of humidors, lined with cedar and available with different stylized finishes and varnishes. Craftsman’s Bench humidors are available with capacity for twenty-five, thirty-five, sixty-five, ninety, and one-hundred cigars. Craftsman’s Bench offers two travel humidors: the passport (with capacity for four cigars) and the passport XL (with capacity for eight cigars). These travel humidors come with a humidification system, foam inserts for cigar padding, and an aluminum protective shell.
