Description
The AJ Fernandez New World Gobernador Toro has gathered accolades from around the world. The New World was AJ’s first collaboration with his Father Ismael, and it’s a nod to the discovery of tobacco and its introduction to the rest of the world in 1492. This dark Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapped blend compliments the Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos perfectly. A rich, medium to full bodied Nicaraguan with loads of spice and hearty flavors. This is the blend that took AJ Fernandez to new heights, a must-try!

This Cigar…. is a dream smoke! I originally purchased the box because a long time friend recommended it to me. I will not mention her name however she has been in the cigar sales business for a long time. That said I was blown away by the cigar! First I am in love with the dark Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapped blend. The flavor is superb and is just wonderful it is I guess a medium to strong cigar. Probably more strong then medium. I love the dark Nicaraguan Oscuro Tabaco. I was sold at Nicaraguan Oscuro. I do not care for weak tabaco my tases have changed over my life. How do I describe the flavor… nuts, coffee, oak, a hint of spice (only an experienced pallet can pick that one out), anyway I digress. The cigar is on my favorites’ list; in fact I only bring one out for special times. I have not had a bad one yet and I expect never to have one. A.J. Fernandez has made a great cigar this one.. well it smokes and tastes a lot like an Opus X Fuente. I have had many Opus X Fuente and still have some left in my Fuente humidor so yes. I have compared them. They both have an explosion of flavor. Obliviously the Opus X Fuente and the New World are not identical however; they have very similar profile in common. So my final world the New World is a great cigar and thank you AJ Fernandez.
