Rocky Patel began as Indian Tabac Cigar Co., a brand incepted by Rakesh Patel. Rocky was a Hollywood lawyer who specialized in movies and, upon noticing the massive popularity of handmade cigars imported from Nicaragua, decided he needed to enter the cigar industry by any means necessary. Ever since, Rocky has used his charisma and hard work to claw his way to the forefront of the tobacco world. Indeed, Rocky famously worked himself into the hospital after spending almost three hundred days on the road during a busy year during the cigar boom. His brand greatly benefitted from the opening of cigar lounges, such as BURN. Now, Rocky is counted among the legends of the cigar industry. The Rocky Patel portfolio features numerous cigar brands from Nicaragua and Honduras. Some of Rocky’s greatest hits, such as the Edge or the Decade, are offered on Luis Martinez cigars.
