Types of Hooten Young Cigars

Hooten Young is offered in a variety of different blends that pay homage to important figures/events within the armed forces. The blends currently available are the Gothic Serpent, MA Deuce, Overlord, and 2020 Selection. Each of these cigars offer a profile that can match the palette of any smoker whether they be looking for a nice creamy/smooth cigar, something with a rich punch, or want a perfectly balanced blend.

 

Hooten Young Gothic Serpent

A perfect blend of aged Nicaraguan tobacco, the Hooten Young Operation Gothic Serpent cigars are finished with a beautiful Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. They are hand-rolled in Nicaragua by artisans dedicated to a craft passed down from generation to generation. Its soft, medium body strength provides a balanced smoke of subtle spice and leather paired with a creamy nuttiness that leaves you with a silky clean palate.

Hooten Young MA Deuce

The Hooten Young MA Deuce cigar is an homage to the “mother of all machine guns”. This historic firearm is the longest-serving weapon in the U.S. military arsenal.  The Hooten Young MA Deuce cigar is shaped as a .50 caliber bullet!  Featuring a medium-body blend with notes of rustic floral with a white pepper finish.  Its unique profile shines with an Ecuadorian Connecticut and San Andres Maduro wrapper (dual wrappers). Crafted with authentic Nicaraguan filler and binder, and hand-rolled in Esteli, Nicaragua.

The Hooten Young “MA Deuce” cigar selection was conceptualized by a member of the Hooten Young family, Clint Aaron Taylor. As an individual with autism, he never lets his challenges dampen his spirit. He enjoys spending time with his friends over a cigar while swapping stories. This one’s for you, Clint.

Hooten Young Overlord

Named after the codename for D-Day, the Operation Overlord is a limited edition, Churchill sized cigar with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper filled with 100% Nicaraguan tobacco that is aged for two years. With a smooth to medium smoke, the Hooten Young Overlord Churchill is the ideal cigar to light in honor of those who are gone but not forgotten.

Hooten Young 2020 Selection

“In celebration of a new decade, we worked with master cigar blender, Azarías Mustafá Córdoba to create a box-pressed blend that can be enjoyed on the links or at your favorite cigar lounge. Hooten Young 2020 Selection Robusto cigars combine the bold flavors of well-aged Ligero tobacco from Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua with the sweet, earthiness of Ometepe tobacco from the volcanic island’s namesake. Draped in a dark San Andrés Maduro wrapper, this medium to full-body cigar features a smooth, yet complex profile with luxurious notes of earth, espresso, and spice.”
