What is Cuba Aliados?

Cuba Aliados is a cigar brand that was originally created by the Puros Indios cigar company. In the summer of 2022, it was announced that the Oliva cigar Co. would purchase the rights and have the blend be produced by famous cigar maker E.P Carrillo. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s story starts by chance after meeting Rolando Reyes in historic Calle Ocho. Taking a young Perez-Carrillo under his wing, Reyes is often credited with helping Ernesto develop his incredible feel and passion for tobacco. Using the Original Cuba Aliados Blend as his inspiration, Perez-Carrillo has crafted a special release for 2022 limited to only 10,000 boxes for the entire line. The Cuba Aliados by EPC Robusto cigar is part of this special release from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo requested by the Oliva Cigar Company. Ernesto-Perez Carrillo is known for cigars that currently dominate the industry when it comes to notoriety such as the Encore which was deemed the cigar of the year in 2018 by cigar afficionado with a score of 96. Carrillo is back at it again with a reimagined Cuba Aliados for the upcoming season. This cigar scored a 90 in the past and was a Havana-made Cuban. Today, this cigar with a reimagined blend is sure to impress much like other cigars crafted by this master cigar maker.
